Pump control CPS10/CPS20
The controls are ready for operation as soon as the direction of rotation has been checked successfully. The current level is shown on the display. Press the toggle key to display motor currents, system voltages as well as the hours of operation in sequence.
The zero reference point can be corrected and lowered by up to 1 mwc as well as raised by as much as 20% of upper range value. It is possible to subsequently alter or correct the level display without any difficulty. Values are entered and displayed in cm steps, the display in mwc.
The standard setting of the measurement range for pneumatic sensing is 2.50 mwc. It is possible to make the settings without having to fill the basin first.
The value of the analogue output changes in line with this scaling; the maximum value corresponds to 20 mA.
All limit value settings to switch the pumps and issue alarm signals are defined in cm steps. The switching operations of the pumps are executed within the set times. To protect the pumps when in operation the motor current and system voltage are monitored continuously.
Changeover (based on time or cyclic) that sees the limit value contacts alternated, ensures even wear and tear of the connected pumps.
If the rated current is exceeded, the fault-actuated changeover function activates the redundant pump and deactivates the faulty pump.
It is possible to assign a measurement range to the analogue output. 4 mA corresponds to the set zero reference point.
Uninterrupted monitoring of the measurement system facilitates a high level of operational reliability.
Fault events, e.g., falling below the corresponding set zero reference point (e. g. I < 4 m A) or exceeding the measurement range (e. g. I > 22 mA) are indicated by an alarm.
All fault messages and the frequency with which they occur are saved to memory so they can be viewed and reset at a later point in time.
It is possible to configure all functions using just three buttons – with all configuration settings fully menu-assisted for user convenience.
It is also possible to configure the parameters via a PC.
All parameters can also be set ex-works free of charge, on request.
The configuration software CPSDat makes it even easier for the user to configure the pump controllers CPS 10 and CPS 20 as well as to archive data.
